She transformed my garden front a wilderness into something which gives year-round pleasure and creates admiration from all those who gaze upon it. I know nothing about gardening, and in truth, I am not particularly interested in the technical side of it, what I wanted was something that lived through the seasons, so I always had something lovely to look at rather than dirt!
Julie took time to understand my level of competence, what kind of garden maintenance I wanted to be involved with, what I liked in terms of colour and shape (also what I did not like) and how I used the garden. Her design proposals were consultative as well as flexible and costs were transparent but always mindful of my budget.
Once the work commenced, it was done in a really efficient and timely manner. Julie project managed the transformation, ensuring the vision of our plan was delivered.

... and addresses our busy lifestyle. The original space was a small ‘garden’ that was basically dirt and overgrown with weeds. Our challenge was to transform it into an easy to maintain space that we could enjoy all year around. The garden that Julie designed and implemented for us is truly an escape from our busy day-to-day lives. Importantly, from an investment point of view, it is an additional room that adds significant value to our home. Working with Julie is a pleasure both personally & professionally. She met us to discuss our brief – she was keen to understand not only what our expectations were aesthetically & seasonally, but also what we were able to achieve practically with respect to maintenance. Having completed renovations on our property, we were very concerned about our budget and Julie was very sensitive to that throughout the project and gave us regular updates on budget & costs. Julie’s style is both proactive and collaborative. She took our creative stimulus and would come back with several creative ideas and her opinion as to what would work for us - aesthetically, practically & financially. Julie is also very flexible with respect to the role she plays – she was happy to recommend other necessary trades that she works with, such as electrics, tiling, etc. but was happy to work collaboratively with whomever we were most comfortable with. She also project monitored the job for us, given our time constraints and given that she is highly organised and proactive, she exceeded expectations. Julie is genuinely concerned with the long-term relationships that she develops with her clients. We have had our garden for 6 months and needed to reach out to Julie for advice and questions given our level of gardening expertise (very low!) and she is always prompt to respond and receptive to helping us maintain our garden – no matter what size the request. We are beyond delighted, all thanks to Julie!

We had a very problematic, large area running down our poolside and had had a disaster previously with bad advice from another company. I was at a loss to know what to do but Julie listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and coupled with her wonderful extensive knowledge of plants & her design skills she came up with the perfect garden plan which suited us exactly. She then thoroughly prepared the area and planted out my new plants. It now looks beautiful and it has added a gorgeous complimentary palette of colour to our pool area and I am thrilled with the outcome. Julie provides a cheerful, friendly service and is super reliable. I would definitely recommend and will be using her skills again in the near future.

... near our patio. Over the years we had wasted a lot of money planting odd plants from the garden centre but the bed never looked right and we had no colour in the late summer. Julie redesigned the bed, keeping some of the shrubs, which were still in good condition. She arranged for an unattractive tree to be removed and replanted the bed with plants to give us colour and interest throughout the year. She seems very knowledgeable and she was able to tailor a design in a personal way that reflected our likes and dislikes with what would actually work! We feel it was money well spent and look forward to enjoying our colourful and interesting garden again this summer!
